Train with 6th Degree Black Belts instructors and other Masters of Brazilian JiuJitsu (BJJ), in the same dojo as Brazil’s top level UFC fighters. Our super fun and friendly camps are perfect for everyone, from complete beginners or seasoned pros.

For one week, you will learn from the best Brazil has to offer. Everything is in fluent English. We only take small groups to make sure you have the best experience and most contact with the top Black Belts.

We know this might be your first time to Brazil, so we make sure you are fully looked after the whole way. We have the best program to get your BBJ to the next level. Plus we arrange fantastic accommodation for you near the guy. If that isn’t good enough, included in the prices are top cultural activities, including the best beaches, food and Brazilian BBQs, historical sites such as Sugar loaf Mountain and Christ Statue, and of course the famous nightlife.

The Instructors

Unlike many training weeks, where you don’t have much access to the top instructors, our program is run by 6th degree black belt Wander Braga and you will train with him everyday, even some personal 1 on 1 classes as well.

Wander is a jiu jitsu black belt under Jorge Pereira, being one of the most well known competitors of BJJ and vale-tudo of his generation and fought at the start of the UFC. He now trains a number of top Brazilian UFC fighters.

Program

Everyday there will be 3 hours of training, run by the top level trainers. The class is super friendly and perfect for all ages and both men and women. Everything in fluent English. You will have the opportunity to meet some of Brazil’s top UFC stars and learn from them as well.

The gym (Dojo)

Located in the original neighborhood of BJJ of (Barra in Rio De Janeiro), the atmosphere of the gym is very friendly and everyone looks after each other like family. So it’s perfect to come alone or with your friends. We’ve got your back (in more ways than one ;)!

Our top of the range training facility is a fully equipped very large Dojo located in Barra, Rio De Janiero. We have everything you need there including an Octagon (just in case you wanted to train there). It’s perfect for all styles of BJJ and other martial arts.

1 on 1 classes

Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp in Rio guarantees a great time on and off the mats. Our small intimate camp with 1 on 1 BJJ classes is based in a friendly environment surrounded by some of the most beautiful nature and beaches you will have ever seen. All classes in fluent English.

Location

Located in Rio, the Dojo is close to the beach. It’s truly a stunning place to train and even the option to train on the beach. After, experience the life of the city, its energy, exhilarating restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and famous sites. It’s the best place to be and train in the world.

Cultural Program

After the daily training, there are cultural activities included every day. So you can see the best of Rio. The evenings are Free time. These events include

Going to famous beaches, such as Copacabanna, Ipanema and Barra
Eating and learning how to make the best Brazilian BBQ in the city
Seeing historical areas of the city
Going on treks
Learning stand up paddle and other water sports
See the bar areas of Lapa full of bars, clubs and nightlife

Accommodation

Accommodation is equipped with all the modern facilities and has a kitchen, Wi-Fi, private bathrooms close to the dojo. You will have the option to choose between staying in dorms and double room accommodation in the studio depending on your budget. The rooms are nice and spacious with shared bathrooms for the dorms and private bathrooms for the studios.
